5.9.04: I(Autumn) am slacking off on this site until summer comes. (around 15th for me). So don't tear the place down.

4.27.04: The old colors hurt my eyes :X A new website layout should follow soon...ish. Then recruiting to get some more activity around here!

4.16.04: Autumn got off her lazy ass and finished changing the website. If it doesn't look different, refresh the page and/or clear your interenet history. Autumn speaks in third person, don't mind her, she is strange today x.X; Now stop ooc posting and get back to rping!

4.12.04: I am removing the character directory section of the website, so please copy your information off there asap!

4.11.04: Happy Easter everyone! Quite a change, eh? Well it is spring now, and since the name no longer holds the colours to red I felt we should try something different :} Website front is set up, the rest is being redone right now.

4.5.04: Blah, my domain host decided to reformat the way things are uploaded to my domain, so the all recently uploaded things are either gone, or went back to how the looked before(IE; the website). More to be fixed...tell me if you see any old RM images lurking.

4.3.04: The website will fixed when I feel like it and when I get the time to, most likely during spring break which is the week after next for me. Sorry for the delay.

3.28.04: Welcome to Aftermath! As you can see we have a new name now. Board all fixed up I think, if you catch any "Red Mists" still being used tell me and I'll fix it. The website will be totally remade soon..er, within a few days?

3.18.04: Well, 5/6 votes said yes to the name change, so change it will. Next step is to get a new name so start thinking and posting ideas here!

3.14.04: We seem to have some guest spammers on the boards. I'm not sure why, or what they want, but if it gets too annoying I'm going to make the boards members only. :}

3.10.04: Changed most of the board smilies from normal smilies into wolves/canine faces instead(made by yours truely). Perhaps I'll change them to other animals later for some diversity. Opinions are welcome on them. Enjoy Also; please note that I am removing the "members" section on the website soon! So please copy all of your character's information and repost it on the character directory section of the board!

3.2.04: Images and domain are working again, sorry for the delay. New layout and plot are coming eventually..

2.28.04: Domain and images are down. Sorry for the inconvenience. Down time. Relax for a bit and think of some posts, but otherwise consider this a vacation. I /will/ have the plot out soon.

2.1.04: A large number of board members were deleted because they either never posted or have been unactive for a great amount of time.

1.21.04: Laboratory board added(Inutech Labs), new labs and suggestions welcome. Keynrow and Algambi boards added to the normal rp areas.

1.10.04: Board updated. All old topics moved to The Grave Yard, if you'd like an old topic reopened message me and I will fix it for you.

12.10.03: Sorry folks I've been very busy, not like it matters much though, no one is rping. Well new applications are closed since I have too many to read over and when I accept people no one even bothers to rp. The outlook for RM is not looking to good. Don't be surprised if the main page is shut down until spring. I'm not deleting it I just want more time to write the story and give the site a better backbone. And with the holiday season and many people traveling I doubt there'll be a jump in posts anyways. I'll write more info/history/guides/etc. No worries though, I'll leave the ezboard as it is and allow people to rp if they wish, which is unlikely. And again, if you have ideas, suggestions, comments or questions feel free to contact me or leave a message on the ezboard. I'm really sorry for not being around to rp and deal with the site in general, I've got more on my plate then I can handle at the moment. Which reminds me, I'm still looking for helpers/site admins to help me moniter and work with the site. Somethings to look forward to; more indepth information, better character directory, interactive rp plot, character art gallery, and holiday activities for both IC and OOC.

Mace watched as demitri hide out of danger for a while. he turned and aimed at the two humans making sure to wound one of them for questioning later. after taking them out he turned to the anthro which was coming at him very fast. he knew she was to close for him to reload his crossbow and fire again so he waited for her to get closer before he took out his sword and fought close quarters combat. he took blow after blow waiting for the perfect time to strike.

it was a while and mace took many blows but the bounty hunter finally made a mistake, he took it and sliced. the anthro fell to the ground dead. he wondered who had sent them and remembered the human he had wounded and looked over to the spot were he was laying. Mace looked around and couldnt find demitri anywere around. mace wondered were he had gone. he walked over to the wounded human to ask him who had sent him but it was too late, he was dead, he had bled to death.

Mace wondered who had sent them but after a while his wounds started getting to him. he sat down and bandaged himself up the best he could. he sat down and passed out. time flew by as he layed there dreaming, wondering about events in his life.occasionaly wondering were demitri was and if he was alright.

Demitri was afraid to peek over the rock, but he did so once the sounds of fighting had stopped.

"Mace? Mace, are you all right?" He stood but couldn't see anyone or thing.

After walking around the boulder, he found Mace laying on the ground unconcious, bandaged somewhat hastily. He lifted him, and the stench of dead wafted to his nose. He glanced up to see the bodies of the now dead attackers and briefly wondered who they were and what they had been out for. He dragged Mace back to camp.

He was a bit groggy, and seemed to waver between conciousness and unconciousness. Demitri took some of the medical supplies out of Mace's bag, knowing that Mace would be grateful later on. He rebandaged his wounds and set up a bigger campfire, with Mace situated against the rock in a sitting position.

After a while mace finally woke up. his wounds were better patched and he was feeling better. he looked around to trya nd find demitir mace hadnt seen him since they had been attacked. Mace got up and looked around he had no idea were he was or how long he had been out.

mace sat down and looked around. he couldnt see much not even demitri. he knew if he was somewere he would be coming back to check on him so mace just sat waited

Demitri returned to camp, whistling cheerfully and carring a load of dried...something. It burned well and didn't give off any noxious fumes. Demitri figured it was dried cactus. He dumped the load near to the fire pit and then looked over to Mace.

"Ah, I see you're awake. Feeling better?" He squatted near the fire and warmed his hands, then glanced to the sky. It had not changed since the attack, but Demitri looked worried.

"Well, I hope you are, 'cause if you aren't it's going to be one hell've a run from here to the nearest shelter come morning."

Mace could see demitir ciming and sat up incase he wanted to talk. while mace was waiting for him he looked up at the sky. it didnt look good but that was the least of his problems. demitri sat down and made a fire with whatever he had found. demitri asked mace how he was mace lied and said he was fine, his wounds hurt alot but he ignored them and kept a smile on his face. he asked him what they were gonna do now.

"Well, by my guess, I would say dawn is less than five hours away. Now, that might sound like a lot of time, but with your wounds, it might take awhile to find a good hide-out, let alone reach it."

He squatted next to the fire, warming his hands.

"I suggest we start now, provided that you feel you can walk." His silver eyes looked concerned, unsure if Mace would make up a lie or tell him the truth.

Demitri nodded, accepting the answer, be it truth or lie. The main concern on his mind now was getting the two of them to safety before the sun began to rise. He stood, and kicked dirt on the fire, making sure that it was totally and completely extinguished; not that there was anything besides the dirt to light on fire.

He picked up what little items Mace had, deciding that he should concentrate on his walking.

"Come on, I think I saw some caves over this way." He started to walk to the left, around the rock. One step, two step, and suddenly...

"Wooooaahhhh!!" He fell, the ground giving way beneath him. For about ten, twenty feet he fell, till his bottom hit the ground. After a moment, the dust cleared, and he was able to look up to see a small shaft of light coming from the hole where he had fallen. He had lost Mace's belongings, but he was sure that they were around, somewhere in the debri.

Standing, making sure that he wasn't injured, Demitri took a look about. It looked like an abandoned tunnel. Perhaps it was some kind of shelter used by the nomads, he thought. At this point, he didn't care. He was just glad that they didn't have to walk very far.

"Mace, I'm ok. Stay there! I'm going to try to find another way in besides falling." Yaawhey knows he's got enough injuries as it is, he thought to himself, and he set off slowly, cautiously peeking around in the darkness.

mace sat back down and watched as demitri walked into the darkness cautiously. After demitri had dissapeared Mace looked out at the barren wasteland and wondered who those people were who had attacked them and who had sent them. Mace went deep into thought as he tried to remeber all the enemies he had made during his work as a mercenary in the different towns he had been to.
